My next series of blog entries are based on this passage from the Gospel of John. The first in this series will post next week.
I want to share a few useful insights on the spiritual journey from these verses from the Gospel of John. So I post them here for your meditation and easy reference.
Perhaps together, we can discern a passage from life as usual, into a more fruitful spiritual life through these verses. Discover a new life, so to speak.
For now, I invite you to meditate, and post your own reflections, on these words of Jesus:
Jesus told them, “The hour has come for the Son of Humanity to be glorified.”
Let me tell you about this new reality, unless a grain of wheat falls to the earth and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it will bear a harvest of fruit.
People who love life on earth life will lose it, while people who let go of life in this world will grow spiritually in the realm of eternal life.
Whoever serves me must have union with me. Where I am, my servant is with me. My Father will honor all people who serve me.
