I love the pop song that asks, “How Far is Heaven?” We all have a longing to be in a better place. The good news is we don’t need to experience death in order to experience heaven.
God the Father sent God the Son into this world for just that very reason. In Jesus we can see and experience the Father in heaven. Jesus is the portal into the heavenly realms for all who have been spiritually re-born. You believe Jesus, also believe that the kingdom of heaven is within you.
If you feel all wrapped up in this crazy world, try this escape route. Christian contemplation opens a door on the heavenly realms. Enter a peaceful place and then encounter the God of heaven and earth. Realize that Jesus is in the Father, and you are in Jesus and Jesus is in you.
There is no distance between heaven and earth for those who believe Jesus.
